JESSE MENDITTO
Without a drummer who could carry complex rhythms and keep perfect time, the dream of Chronos could not be possible. This huge void was filled early in 2001, when 16 year old Jesse Menditto was asked to join the band. Already an accomplished jazz drummer, Menditto filled the gaps with strong, interlaced rhythms and smooth transitional fills, to provide the glue needed to hold the fabric of Chronos together. He set himself apart at an early age, practicing for hours a day after beginning his drumming career at the age of 10. Rapidly, he bypassed many who sought to be as good as he was, mostly because of a mixture of raw talent and undeniable work ethic. Menditto now lays down some of the most complex grooves you will hear in the Christian Rock world, all the while keeping perfect time. his talent added to Chronos has take the band to another level, and set them apart from many artists out there today, who are striving to find the perfect balance between solid rhythms and complex grooves.
